With over 20 years of professional practice, Germán has excelled on corporate matters and projects on different sectors, such as energy, industrial, IT and telecommunications among others. He specializes on the corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and information technology. He has participated in the formation of consortia and joint ventures for large-scale technological projects; in the negotiation of contracts with the public sector, bidding processes both public and private, in Chile and abroad; and in the reorganizations and acquisition of companies in Chile and Latin America.
German is widely recognized in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and advises several different mining, real estate, telecommunications, information technology, energy companies. Likewise, he advises project developers, sponsors, investors and contractors in all legal matters related to the structuring, development and financing of infrastructure projects of various kinds.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2000-2007: Legal Counsel – Sonda.
- 2010 and 2014: Ministry of Agriculture Advisor. Negotiated with indigenous peoples the decree under which ILO Convention No. 169 operates, and was a member of the drafting team of the Groundwater Regulations.
